Oak Hill School is proud to announce that Dr. Clifford Passen, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, will be consulting with our program starting in September 2015. Dr. Passen brings more than 25 years of experience working with children from many of our component schools in the Capital Region. Dr. Passen’s expertise includes but not limited to, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and depression.

The staff at Oak Hill School is very excited to have this opportunity to work with Dr. Passen a proven leader in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry for the past 25 years.

Oak Hill School is a NYS approved Chapter 853 private therapeutic day school for children in K-8th grades with social-emotional and/or behavioral challenges that keep them from being successful in a traditional school setting.  The school is set over 9 acres of wooded land, complete with a pond and hiking trails. 

What makes Oak Hill School unique is its non-traditional individualized education program that utilizes a variety of resources including, but not limited to: nature and the outdoors, cooking, gardening, photography, and ceramics.  In addition, our program is in complete alignment with the NYS Learning Standards and the NYS Common Core Learning Standards.
